One of the most well-known dive spots in the Red Sea is Abu Dabbab. It’s one of the few locations on Earth where you can go diving alongside Green Sea Turtles and the extremely uncommon and endangered Dugong (Sea Cow).
The area around Marsa Alam is home to the stunning sandy Abu Dabbab beach. This fantastic snorkelling spot will enthral you with its vibrant underwater environment. Don your fins and snorkel, then set out on an amazing underwater journey. Turtles and "sea cows" find shelter on the sand-covered seafloor. Additionally visible are rays, lionfish, and stunning clownfish. You will capture some amazing pictures if you bring a waterproof camera.
