Embark on a fast quad safari through the desert near Hurghada and not only get to know real Bedouins, but experience part of their customs while you can have tea and shisha!
The Hurghada desert safari by quad gives you the opportunity to discover the quiet beauty of the Arabian desert! Come with us on a desert safari by quad. We pick you up at your hotel and bring you comfortably to the quad station.
Here you complete a test drive before driving 25 km through the desert with our best quad guides. Then there is a break in a Bedouin camp, where you can enjoy a ride on a camel along with Bedouin tea and shisha. After you have returned to the quad station, our transfer takes you back to your hotel in Hurghada.
The part of the desert that lies between Hurghada/the Red Sea and the Nile is also known as the Arabian Desert. Together with the Nubian desert, these two represent the eastern part of the Sahara.
The area of around 220,000 square kilometers includes gentle hills and wadis as well as rugged low mountain ranges that reach up to 2000 meters.
Southwest of Hurghada is the highest mountain in Egypt outside the Sinai Mountains, the so-called “Gebel Shayib al-Banat”. Right behind Hurghada you can already see the wonderful mountain formations.
You can witness an especially great picture during sunset. The Bedouins living in the wadis were once sent by the government to secure the desert towards Libya. In the meantime, however, the people have other tasks.
In addition to protecting this barren nature, it also includes conveying their cultural heritage. During your quad safari in the Hurghada desert, you will get close to these wonderful people with their treasures and customs.
The fast drive through the desert gives you enough time for a tea or shisha with the Bedouins.
You will also receive a brief introduction to the achievements of Bedouins and Bedouin crafts. A ride on one of the famous “desert ships”, the camels, also allows you to breathe real desert air.
