EL Gouna Boat Trip – Get to know the lagoon city near Hurghada on the Red Sea
Visit El Gouna, the Venice of Egypt, on an exciting boat tour. Get to know the lagoon city not only on water, but also on land and be enchanted by the oriental flair in El Gouna.
Our excursion starts in the morning. From the coast of Hurghada we will take a comfortable ship north to visit “Egyptian Venice”, the wonderful and impressive city called El Gouna.
On the way we will pass the famous Dolphin House where you have the chance to see dolphins in their natural habitat. Afterwards we will take a break to fish and snorkel before heading to El Gouna.
You will enjoy a guided tour of this small and beautiful city and you can visit the El Gouna Aquarium.
Of course there is always the possibility to take photos during the whole trip from Hurghada to El Gouna.
El Gouna, in English “The Lagoon”, is located about 20 km north of Hurghada and considered the Venice of Egypt.
The small town on the Red Sea is especially attractive for divers and surfers, because it offers extensive sandy beaches and great wind conditions.
Five different beaches are open to the public and do not belong to hotels. The coastal town extends a little bit over five kilometers on the coast of the Red Sea and offers you all kinds of entertainment.
Numerous restaurants and cafes line the cute alleys that lead the visitor through the Mediterranean lagoon landscape.
The houses are strongly inspired by the traditional architectural style in Egypt and take you straight to the Orient.
On the way to El Gouna you have the opportunity to meet dolphins and to experience these beautiful animals in freedom in the Red Sea off Hurghada. There is also the possibility to swim and snorkel.
Do not miss that chance! After mooring in El Gouna, stroll through the various alleys to get an impression of this lovingly designed city, which is known and loved by tourists from all over the world. During a guided tour, you will also learn about the history of this romantic town.
Afterwards you will pay a visit to the small but nice aquarium of El Gouna, which is home to many fish species from the Red Sea. The ship will then take you back to the home port in Hurghada.
